marketing?

if you have a marketing major, what exactly do you do in school. like do you have a product that you have to try and sell? does it involve drawing?

1. marketing major takes a lot of business classes. You will learn the concepts of Marketing. Advertising, Most likely Small Business concepts. No drawing.
2. It is part of a Business degree, so you will have to approve the "Core" business courses. I also took: 1. Marketing Principles 2. Marketing Management 3. Retailing 4. Advertising (communications, Impersonally) 5. Consumer Behavior 6. Marketing Research 7. Sales (Communications, Personal) Some "creativity" required for advertising, but not much. It is a formal business field, requiring a lot of reading. Be aware, I have never been able to work in Marketing (except in selling), even when I additionally hold a Masters. There are too many Marketing Majors out there.
