Spanish would limit it down to only so many countries (and would open gateways to only Portugal in terms of close languages if that's how you were to go about your expansion). If you learn English it won't leave the most lasting impression on the other European countries. Austrian isn't a language but a German dialect, as is Swiss (they have a French one too though). But if you had to pick one, German. Once you get German down you can reach out to all Germanic countries much easier (which is...a lot of Europe).
