any advice for a young entrepreneur?

I really have gained some drive since i left school (i am 19 now) i want to start my own business but i am unsure as to what area i should enter, i feel production in the UK is not a good path due to cheaper costs abroad etc. I need a good niche to enter. But careers advisors never seem to give any form of direction. Any expert advice would be greatly appreciated :)

1. I am in the same position as you...I am desperate to get my foot into the business industry.....one idea for you may possibly be software design....You can hire software graduates from places like China and India ...it is just a thought....or maybe a stock brokerage....

3. from your question I visualise that you are in UK. Well, what type of business activity would you be interested. Is it home products?? Electronics?? Dress designing?? tut ions ?? Any particular line, you will have to study in depth the opportunities available and the competition you may have to face through. Hence for the line of activity you finalise, do an understudy by working as an apprentice for a year or two, come to grips with the pros & cons of the situation, in short get experience and than venture out in the business of your choice. while as an understudy gather as much information and knowledge as possible. search the internet for your line of activity desired and you will gain enough data. Associate yourself with others in similar activity, plan discussion sessions, probe the obstacles, accept obstacles with firm commitments to resolve and overcome them. Trust you to succeed in your endeavours.

5. What type of business are you looking to get into, a home based business or ??, do you have capital to invest or ?? Are you willing to work hard to get what you want ?
6. Depends on who are you. seriously listen to me. When you were borned, what WERE your interest? What do you think you are good at? What is your passion RIGHT now? If you answered the above 3 questions, then you should have found out your talent and what kind of people and attitude and personality you YOURSELF have. Recognize them.Then feel the drive you need to become successfull, are you desperate enough? not for money, but for success. become a warrior. thats what you need to have, the passion and desire, dedication and perseverance. Getting into the biz world requires alot of PRACTICAL work aswell as daydreaming about biz plan. Once you got a biz plan, start working on it. do it. if you find yourself proscratinating after a few days, then you are not the man for it. Biz plan must come from you, yourself. Things that you can see, if you can see the things that others do not, you are gifted you are the one for it. even if i give you the idea here, it wouldnt last logn because its not your idea. and you wont get anywhere . So go to out there, walk, explore, think about all the things you could do with them to earn you money. Everything you see, visualise them how you can make them and innovate them. walk around , look at how people sell, look at how big corporate firms operate, study about them, read books , get online search for information. This is an entrepreneur mind. This is a business mind. It is also an inventor mind. To build a biz is not an external build but to build your internal , to find and search your soul. That is not enough, upgrade your brain, your knowledge every single day. that is not enough, you must be strong in your heart. that is not enough, you must sacrifice. 7. Before going any further, learn all(Everything) about the bussiness u r getting into it. Learn about the competitors and coustomers demand ( market pockets) Also think about the level of serivice that can be and must be and should be there. Price fixation and costing important to make a profitable biz. I suggest u take up MBA after completing a appropriate degree related to the biz if it is possible. Then u know better how to make and sell and sail ur buissness.
