- Getting a degree is NOT about getting a JOB! It's about getting an EDUCATION! (And this world is sadly lacking in people with real education - not job training, but knowledge about the world, about history, about art, about science, about ... well, everything!) No matter what field you go into, no matter what your interests are, you'll be a more well-rounded, interesting and satisfied individual if you get an education. If you're already smart ... and it sounds like you are! ... give yourself every opportunity to succeed.
- There is a very good book about people who have gone places w/o college. I forget it's name though. Maybe something like success without a college degree. If you're looking to start a business, take some business classes at the college -- continue ed and take classes by your local SBA office. That should give you a good start.
