  1. First off, I expect to see a host/hostess welcoming me.
  2. To be greeted by the Host (by name). Presentation is everything when I go to an expensive restaurant.
  3. expect to be warmly greeted as soon as u walk in the door by a nice presentable person
  4. I expect prompt staff noticing I am there and ready to seat me. I expect a table ready and that doesn't have to be cleaned off first. Staff are ready to gather drinks for the table and give us a chance to look at the menu, give us a few minutes and return to check to see if we are ready to order. A staff that will check and refill drinks as they see fit as well as other things such as bread, butter, salad.
  5. a person with a black suit giving me a menu and then telling me were to sit
  6. First thing I would expect is to have a hostess greet me as soon as I walk in.
  7. Prompt service - someone beautiful asking how many in my party and taking my appetizer/drink order immediately
  8. Good things I expect: 1)Good food. 2)Dilligent service. 3)Cleanliness. Bad things I expect: 1)Long wait. 2)High prices. 3)Long wait.
  9. a smile and a greeting
  10. Not to have to wait.
  11. Great Service & Great Food
  12. i expect nothing when it is the first time i enter a restaurant, but at least i want to have a good meal, for it's prize.,and if possible a good kitchen/cook,so i will remind it,that it was good, and come back later again..:-) but anyway if with fancy you mean that i have to pay more..,you will not see me. :-)
  13. Plenty of snoby people that think they are the Sh*t!! Oh and a hostest!!!
  14. I expect to be greeted promptly and politely (regardless of my appearance or age - a fine restaurant should train its staff to treat everyone with courtesy!). I would also expect for someone to offer to take my coat or at least have a coat room available. I would then expect to be escorted to my table - or to the lounge/bar area to wait for a table to become available. Many restaurants will not seat a party unless most or all of the party has arrived, so the lounge area may also be used for this purpose. Beyond the initial greeting, I expect all staff members to be professional and knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. The environment should be impeccably clean, attractively decorated, and not too loud. And, of course, the food and drink must be well above average if I'm going to be spending the money to eat there!
  15. An enchanting aroma of delicious food. A clean and inviting environment. Flowers. To be followed by a respectful greeting by that Mayteer Dee dude. tee hee. Actually, I'm sure you'll find the aroma in the entry is a bad idea. Odor tends to linger, and it tells me that they skimp on air filtration equipment. Where else are they skimping? Besides, I have NO sense of smell. Lost that in an accident 27 years ago. But I did used to consider that. First thing. Now I ask my partner.
