Should I Be A Lawyer,Businessman,Chief-Editor Or Entrepreneur?

Lawyer:I speak really good english and are good in subjects like geography and social studies.I am very cunning when it comes to arguing and i can be almost heartless at times. The problem is being a lawyer is not something that i like to do even though i know i could make lots of money. It's my mom,she badly wants me to be a lawyer because she believes that i have a strong potential. As a son,i have to make her proud. So i'm still considering. Businessman:What exactly does a businessman do?I heard it's quite a good job with a good pay. Chief-Editor:Now i've always wanted to start my own magazine or be the the chief-editor of a top magazine cause i'm really gifted in writing. But,my mom doesn't support the idea of me becoming an editor. Entrepreneur:I was thinking of starting a retail company as well which sells ladies and men's fashion. The problem is,i need a stable job with a reasonable salary so that i could save up for this company. So which occupation would you recommend?

  1. Businessman/Entrepreneur: basically the same thing except a businessman doesn't necessarily run their own business I wouldn't advise you to become a lawyer simply b/c your mother wants that. You'd be very unhappy taking the career up for that reason. As for the chief-editor position... you can't just jump right into that world and be a chief editor of a magazine. It takes years of building up from the bottom. Overall, you really need to think about your career... Asking random people isn't the way to go. Research, research, research... life isn't about just picking something. these things take time! But, your business idea (the retail company) is a good place to start. Remember, you'll have to be patient and start small. :D
  2. DO NOT become a lawyer.
  3. Be a chief editor. You'll always be better at something you enjoy. Also, it's a stable job that could give you the resources to be an entrepeneur.
  4. The first one!
