1. I wouldn't suggest getting into any online "get-rich-quick" or "we-give-you" schemes. They are fishy and in some cases dangerous. Make sure you do not give out your personal details e.g. Credit Card Number, Social Security Number, Address etc. Do your research on the company. Try visiting Wikipedia, they may have some useful info. When you are sure that its safe, then you may follow the procedures. Don't go into anything your not sure about. Its better to be safe than sorry. A useful link is shown below.
2. Pyrmid (Ponse) schemes work on two things, greed and gulibility. Your greed and guilbility. They count on your greed to over ride your sense of judgement. If you have to sign anything, agree to pay money, or deliver your first born, walk away. There is usually one or two guys at the top making the money while you are milking everyone you know, meet, heard of, strangers, cats and dogs, whatever, for scrapings that you will not even get to taste. You make money, you pay for whatever you sold, then pay the people above you a cut of your profit (after your expenses), then you also pay everyone above that person. The higher up you go, the less people you have to pay. Then comes the line, "If you get your friends and family to work for you, then you get some of what they get." and "You will be able to retire 20 years early while your business takes off." These are schemes for a reason, they take, give very little, and will leave you wondering why you got involved. Beware.
